Choose chemistry by fouling type: Carbon remover / Copper remover / Polymer remover.
Clean
Manual rod cleaning or mechanized air-powered brushing for consistent, repeatable results.
Inspect
HD video borescope, breach to muzzle. Re-clean if fouling detected. Record video + images.
Measure
Bore diameter + erosion. Digital data entry. Taken post-clean — pre-clean measurement is unreliable.
Upload
Recorded to the SAFEBORE Bore Record for fleet-wide analysis and AI defect detection (coming soon).

Fouling must be removed before visual inspection or measurement can begin. CEWC cleans to bare steel, so condition data reflects the tube rather than residue.

Select chemistry formulated for the fouling type (Carbon / Copper / Polymer). Clean to bare steel — not just surface-level. Polar solvent chemistry breaks the ionic bond between fouling and metal without abrasion.
Air-Powered Brushing
Mechanized Bore Cleaning Tool
Mechanized brushing delivers consistent cleaning force along the full bore length, eliminating operator variability versus manual methods.
HD Bore Inspection
Zistos Digital Video Borescope
Real-time HD video from breach to muzzle. Re-clean if fouling is detected. Record video and images as the inspection record. The bore is not signed off until it is visually confirmed clean.
Bore Measurement
Zistos Measurement Accessory
Quantify bore diameter and erosion at defined points. Record digital data — not handwritten notes. Measurement is only meaningful when taken on a chemically clean bore.
